New Characters? Dark Samus

Dark Samus would be a great character, especially because she was the main villain in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Here is her moveset:

B: Phazon Beam Like Samus’ B except with rapid fire.

Side B: Phazon Missile: Super fast missile. Does 2 seconds of lip-stick damage.

Down B: Ball Dash: Dark Samus rolls up into a the morph ball, and dashes in the direction she’s facing. Stuns opponents for 1 second.

Up B: Phazon Wave: Dark Samus Screw Attacks into the air, damaging anyone who comes in contact with her, and then shoots down. Upon landing, she emits a small shockwave of energy around her.

Final Smash: Corruption: Dark Samus shoots a giant beam of Phazon in the direction she’s facing. It’s a one-hit KO, and does 5 seconds of lipstick damage to everyone playing.

You may think that she would be a clone, but Dark Samus would be slower and more powerful than her counterpart. To unlock her, you would have to play 200 matches.

Snake!

On Friday, we finally have news about Snake! We also got news about his special moves and music. We ended the week with a triple update Friday. Will we be getting more of these? Maybe, but that’s off topic. Let’s start with the special moves.

Meerkat Madness

This is a post about a great TV show called Meerkat Manor. It’s a drama show about the real life and death events of a group of meerkats called the Whiskers. While the show is usually a little over dramatic, Meerkat Manor has a very enticing storyline.

There are many different groups of meerkats in the Kalahari Project (The project on wich Meerkat Manor is based), but only a select few make it onto the show:

The Whiskers: This group is the main mob on the show. They are on of the largest groups on the show, and their territory is also one of the largest. They were recently booted out of their old “manor” by the Commandos, and were forced to set up life on a new piece of land.

The Lazuli: This mob was the Whisker’s first televised enemy. They used to be a huge threat to the Whiskers until Season 2, when their dominant male died, and one of his last two pups was killed. The Lazuli mysteriously disappeared off the show.

The Commandos: The Whisker’s most formidable enemy, the Commandos stole the Whisker’s original territory between Season’s 2 and 3, and are suspectedly coming back for season three. Their leader, Hannibal, has only one eye, and is the toughest meerkat in the Kalahari.

The Zappa: This clan is new to the show as of season 3. They’ve attacked the Whisker’s twice, but have failed both times. But now they have a new dominant female-Punk, and a new dominant male-Houdini. With this new leadership, the Whisker’s may be in trouble from this clan.

The Starsky: This group has former Whisker females Mozart and Kinkajou. This group is very small, and newly formed. The dominance of this group is in question.

Overall, Meerkat Manor is a great show. But beware. Meerkats actually do die on this show. Season 3 is now underway, and you can watch it on Friday’s, at 8:30 PM ET.

A Dastardly Duo

Today we have a veteran returning. It’s Ice Climbers! That’s right. Now that’s a surprise. These two characters will be returning for the third installment of Smash Bros.

Character Mountain

This is something I made up called a character mountain. It shows how likely characters are to be in Brawl. Only characters in Melee and Super Smash Bros are included in the diagram.

Band

There is a new band in Weird World. They call themselves the Fried Stick Men of Music, or the FSMM for short. The band is made up of four members:

1. Hooded Warrior. The singer, and songwriter.

2. Slinky. He plays the money bag.

3. Smart Stick Man. He plays the burning drums, and uses his glasses as sticks.

4. Ms. Scary Mary. She plays the wary canary.

The FSMM are having their debut concert September 24 1/4, 2007. Be sure to come to the music hall, or watch the concert live on The Music Network.
